Above left: Grave stele of a young girl (450 - 440 BC). - Above right: Relief of Isis-Demeter from the sanctuary of Isis, Hellenistic period. - Below left: Relief of the hero Kandylidas (2nd century BC). - Below centre: Trajanus, Roman emperor (98 - 117 BC), admirer of Alexander the Great; from the Praetorium. - Below right: Hydraulis (1st century BC?), found in 1992 in ancient Dion. It is an early type of pipe organ blown by air, the world's first keyboard instrument, and the predecessor of the modern church organ. The hydraulis found in Dion is the only find of its kind in Greece and the oldest discovered specimen of its kind in the world.
